Frequently Asked Questions. How can I make an appointment to see a veterinarian? OFFICE VISITS ARE SCHEDULED BY APPOINTMENT, BUT WALKINS ARE WELCOME . Especially if your pet has a life-threatening emergency, please call our clinic at (308) 762-7053 to schedule an appointment for a visit. What should I do in the case of an emergency? WE PROVIDE EMERGENCY CARE FOR OUR CLIENTS during office hours. For after-hours emergency care, The Animal Center has an emergency mobile phone number. 308-760-2278 We have a veterinarian on call locally to service after hour emergencies. Where can I get my pet's prescriptions filled? WE OFFER AN IN-HOUSE PHARMACY as a service to our clients. We stock the most commonly prescribed medications for your pet. In the event that we do not carry a specific medication, we will either order it for you, or give you a script to be filled at the pharmacy of your choice. What are your regular hours? OUR REGULAR OFFICE IS OPEN Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. How can I see your entire facility, not just the waiting area? WE ARE PROUD OF OUR HOSPITAL, and are happy to give hospital tours to individuals or small groups. Individuals wishing to take a look at our facility are welcome to come at any time. We suggest coming in for tours in late-morning or late-afternoon, when we are more likely to have free time for your tour.
